Some highlight events include:
Many partners from Invest4Nature including coordinators Joanneum Research, and partners from Oppla, Aarhus University, Horizon Nua, and Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA) participated actively in the final conference of Network Nature. Some partners are also part of the Task Force 3 in Network Nature.
Partners from Aarhus University presented the session “Leveraging public investment for NbS” – and innovative financing initiatives to scale-up NbS – raiseing awareness with industry stakeholders and business partners in the audience
The European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO) is a large event gatheringtogether city representatives, experts, and stakeholders from local and regional institutions to discuss strategies, initiatives, and actions related to climate change adaptation. Invest4Nature was lucky to be able to actively participate with two different sessions including:
The sessions served to inform the audience about the topic and importance of financing of Nature-Based Solution, shedding light on how important the work in Invest4Nature is in the larger context of urban resilience.
The event also presented a special opportunity, being located in Cascais, one of Invest4Nature’s Living Labs, to showcase the NbS work done in the region
REGREEN
In a special webinar series focused on Nature-Based Solutions, Invest4Nature was presented alongside project REGREEN as an initiative working in the field, showcasing the project’s objectives, activities, and findings thus far.
Alongside fellow NbS projects Go!Nature Positive, Network Nature, C-Faarer, NBS EduWorld, and Maia, Invest4Nature supported the event, represented by Horizon Nua on Emerging Trends o Nature-Based Solutions.
