Joanneum Research (JR) is one of Austria’s largest non-university research organisations. It is providing a wide range of services: applied research and development for small and medium-sized enterprises is supplemented by custom-designed technical business consulting and vast expertise in interdisciplinary management of complex research contracts at a national and international level. The project will be carried out by the groups “International Climate Policy & Economics”, “Future Energy Systems & Lifestyle” and “Weather & Climate Risk Management” at LIFE – Centre for Climate, Energy & Society. JR has participated or coordinated more than 250 FP5, FP6, FP7 and H2020 projects from the European Commission and is currently also coordinating the H2020 project EXCESS.
Invest4Nature is coordinated by Joanneum Research (JR). The Joanneum Team has broad experience from recent projects like REGREEN (H2020) on NBS market research and long term experiences with economic evaluations including risk assessments. As coordinator, JR ensures the scientific development of the project and monitors the scientific progress of the different tasks and the links between all works packages, at the same time ensuring the compliance to ethics requirements across the project.
